Transform your business for what's next.

I help founders and CEOs turn digital transformation into business results - connecting strategy, customer experience, product, technology, and AI with execution.

Approach

From clarity to action.
Digital transformation isn’t about adopting more technology. It’s about knowing what to change, why it matters, and how to make it happen.

I work with founders, CEOs, and leadership teams to identify where digital can create the greatest business impact - and turn those opportunities into action.

Drawing on 20+ years across global enterprises, growing businesses, and startups, I connect business strategy, customer experience, product, technology, and AI to see the whole transformation - not just one part of it.

My approach is collaborative, practical, and built for momentum. Depending on the challenge, I use principles from agile, design thinking, co-creation, rapid prototyping, and real-world testing to quickly move from assumptions to evidence and from discussion to decisions.

The goal isn't to follow a methodology. It's to create clarity, reduce risk, and get the right things moving.

What I do

As a Silicon Valley–trained software engineer and 3-time Inc. 500 fastest-growing private company founder, I’ve worked across businesses ranging from $1M to $50M in annual revenue.

I bring the most value at the intersection of strategy and execution - helping founders and leadership teams see the bigger picture, make better decisions, and turn those decisions into action.

Depending on the challenge, I play three roles:

The Counsel
I advise founders, owners, and CEOs on business, growth, product, technology, and organizational strategy - bringing an outside perspective from someone who has built and operated businesses himself.

The Architect
I work with founders and executive teams to clarify priorities, make difficult choices, define strategic initiatives, and create a roadmap the organization can actually execute.

The Facilitator
I bring leadership and production teams together to solve critical problems, remove ambiguity, accelerate decisions, and move high-impact initiatives from conversation to execution.

About Ming

I got yelled at by Steve Jobs. It changed the trajectory of my career.

I was a technical lead working on a project for Apple when I found myself on the receiving end of Steve's famously direct communication style.

What stayed with me wasn't the yelling. It was his ability to see something others couldn't yet see -and his insistence on getting from an idea to the thing that actually mattered.

I've spent much of my career learning how to do that without the yelling.

Over the past 20+ years, I've been a software engineer, web developer, technical lead, product manager, digital strategist, CTO, CSO, CEO, founder, and business advisor.

That unusual path taught me to look at a business problem from multiple directions.

Business. Customer. Product. Technology. People. Execution.

I've worked with some of the world's largest enterprises and fastest-growing startups. I've been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of its “Top 10 Asian Entrepreneurs in America,” contributed technical leadership to Emmy Award-winning interactive television work, and built The1stMovement into a 3-time Inc. 500 fastest-growing private company and one of LA Magazine's Best Places to Work in Los Angeles.

Today, I continue to lead The1stMovement, where we design, build, and accelerate digital solutions for global enterprises.

Through Mingism & Co., I work personally with founders, owners, and CEOs of smaller, growing businesses.

The scale is different. The fundamental challenge isn't:

See what matters.
Decide what to do.
Get people aligned.
Make it happen.

That’s the work I love.
